1. Your data stays strictly on your device
Every note you write in TypeGrid is stored locally in the application's private, sandboxed storage on your own machine or mobile device (Windows, Android, macOS, or Linux).
Your thoughts and writings are never uploaded, synced across third-party cloud servers, or transmitted across the wire. When you close the app, your data remains safely stored on your local disk.
2. No account, no sign-up, no passwords
TypeGrid does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, password, or any personal credentials.
There is no account creation flow, no sign-in modal, and no database of users. You open the application and immediately start writing without barriers or identity checks.
3. Zero analytics, telemetry, or tracking
The application contains zero analytics SDKs, zero crash-reporting telemetry beacons, zero advertising cookies, and zero behavioral trackers.
We do not know how many notes you have written, what words you type, how long you write, or how frequently you launch the app — and it was intentionally engineered that way from day one.
4. Zero background network requests
TypeGrid works 100% offline. The application makes zero HTTP/HTTPS network calls during normal note-taking operations.
The only external links that ever leave the app are the ones you intentionally click (such as the creator's portfolio at sadiqtbh.com or the open-source repository on GitHub), which launch in your own independent default web browser.
5. Your exports remain completely private
When you export a document as PDF, Word (.docx), Markdown, or plain text, the file is compiled locally in-memory on your machine and saved directly to the folder you specify.
No third party, intermediary cloud service, or remote API ever processes or inspects the file contents.
6. Even the publisher cannot access your data
Because there is no remote server hosting your notes, there is no master database, administrative backdoor, API token, or encryption key that anyone could ever use to access your work.
Even we, the creators and publishers of TypeGrid, cannot read a single word you type.
7. Children's privacy & universal safety
Because TypeGrid collects no personal data from anyone, it is safe for creators, students, and writers of all ages.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, because we collect no information from anyone under any circumstances.
8. Open source transparency
TypeGrid's codebase and updates are publicly documented on GitHub at github.com/sadiqtbhx-lab/TypeGrid.
Anyone can audit our dependency tree, verify the zero-telemetry architecture, and confirm that there are no tracking modules or remote beacons.
9. Contact the Creator
